An impressively vain pokemon, Leaflet hates getting dirty and appearing uncouth. He fancies himself the leader of the pack, delegating work to others even in battle, thus pissing everyone off rather consistently. Ess generally doesn't mind or care for his high standards- if a beggar wishes to be a chooser, he can either have nothing or work for it- and only checks his behaviour when he's being disruptive.
While Leaflet thinks the world revolves around him, he's not above sucking up to people who clearly have more power. Appealing to the egos of other Pokemon (or humans, if they somehow understand him) is a common tactic of his, though it doesn't seem to work on Ess, Kikiki, and Little. He quite likes the arts in all forms, and shockingly doesn't criticize it much. Leaflet wishes to evolve as soon as possible to join the realm of creativity.
